Hints and Tips for Best Results
with CoverFactory
|
Tip 1: Use the Latest Version
Version 2.11 (and 2.10 and 2.02) of CoverFactory produces better quality images than previous
versions. Be sure to use the latest version of the software (you can check
which version that you have installed by clicking About... on the
Help menu).
If you load a saved cover project created with a previous version of
CoverFactory into version 2.02 or 2.10 or later, you should recreate the background in order
to produce the best overall quality images:
- Load the project using Open... on the File menu.
- Go to the Background tab in CoverFactory.
- Double click in the Properties list on
the right-hand side to edit the Background.
- Recreate the background with the same settings as previously.
- Hey presto, when you render the image it should appear clearer.
Additionally, on some computer systems, versions prior to 2.11, may
produced somewhat distorted or fuzzy text. This problem is corrected
in version 2.11 and later. You do not need to do anything (other than
upgrade to the latest version) to take advantage of this improvement.
